Book your place

We are thrilled to announce an upcoming Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) Doctoral Conference scheduled for Wednesday, June 19th. This event aims to reveal and celebrate research being carried out by BAME doctoral researchers at Birkbeck and promises to be a dynamic and enriching experience for all attendees.

The programme will include:

  • Talks from current doctoral researchers: Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Doctoral researchers at Birkbeck are invited to propose a talk to present at the conference. This is an opportunity for you to make your doctoral research visible and gain experience presenting your work.
  • In response to feedback from students we are also organising training and networking sessions tailored to meet the needs and interests of our BAME doctoral student community. Your feedback is instrumental in shaping these sessions.
  • An opportunity for doctoral students to present their research posters
  • The evening will conclude with an exciting keynote speaker who will be announced soon.
  • A drinks reception at the close of the event.
