Have you thought about going to university but don't know how to make it happen or aren't sure if it's for you?
This event will help you navigate the information that is required when deciding whether to go to university. 

Is Uni For Me?, hosted by Birkbeck's Access and Engagement Department, is aimed at adults going to university for the first time and will offer practical advice and guidance for overcoming common challenges and concerns. We're here to help you decide if university is the right option for you.

The event will include:

  • an introduction to what is on offer at Birkbeck;
  • information on the benefits of university study
  • common concerns and challenges which adult learners can face;
  • a study skills session to get you thinking about university study;
  • space for questions.

    The core session will run from 2:30-4:30pm with an optional student finance session from 4:30-5pm.

Please note this session does not provide information on PHD study.
