As part of our 200th Anniversary celebrations, Birkbeck will be returning to Oxford!
Birkbeck will be hosting alumni drinks Wednesday 25 October.
The event will be a great opportunity to hear exciting updates from Birkbeck and make connections with local Birkbeck alumni.
We will be joined by Dr Rhea Sookdeosingh (MA 2012) who will talk about her experience of moving from Canada to study an MA at Birkbeck, how this led to doing a DPhil at Oxford, and how she later returned to Birkbeck to work in public and community engagement. Rhea will share how Birkbeck’s unique position as both an accessible and academically rigorous university committed to providing educational opportunities for all has profoundly shaped the course of her academic and professional journey
