Join us for our Dinner and Self-Development Week, April 24-28th. Enjoy a free main course and two sides, courtesy of Birkbeck, and hear about all the great resources on offer to Birkbeck students. Advance booking required.
The theme for Monday, April 24th is digital tools for assessment. It will cover some tools that are available to you that can help during the assessment period including citation and grammar checking, simple speech-to-text so you can dictate essays and how to check your Turnitin similarity score.
Once you have booked the event, go to the Student Advice Centre in the Malet St building between 4 and 4.30pm on April 24th to get a token for your dinner. Please remember to bring your student ID because this event is only for current Birkbeck students.
Give the token to staff in 'Terrace 5' (the restaurant on the fifth floor of the extension building in Malet St). After you have chosen your food, take a seat and enjoy the presentation.
