UN PRME Scenario Analysis Workshop: Marine dumping on UK coastlines

When:
Venue: Birkbeck Central

The School of Business, Economics and Informatics and Birmingham City University are offering a one-day scenario analysis workshop to tackle marine dumping on UK coastlines.

The project was selected for funding by UN Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME). The one-day scenario risk analysis workshop hopes to work with students and multiple stakeholders to identify strategies to protect UK coastlines from such risks.

The workshop will take place on Friday 19th May 2023, 10am-5pm in-person on Birkbeck Campus.

In this workshop you will learn:

  • The ability to use the Scenario analysis analytical tool, which is commonly used by senior leaders and management consultants, to allow groups of stakeholders to think and talk creatively about how the future might unfold.
  • An understanding of the complex challenges of marine dumping and the development of potential solutions.

The aim is for the day to be a valuable networking opportunity, as well as an opportunity to develop analytical and employability skills that will enhance your CV.
