This roundtable discussion will examine ongoing research on histories of Greek migration, diaspora, and citizenship in and beyond the Mediterranean. It aims to explore the multiple intersections of classical and modern histories of law, language, literature, and empire as they shape diaspora communities, migration regimes, and the politics of belonging. The roundtable will feature the work of three Birkbeck doctoral students and will be followed by Q&A with the audience.
