As part of our 200th Anniversary commemorations we are proud to welcome Sir Paul Marshall to deliver this keynote lecture, Lessons from two decades of investing in inner-city education. 

Biography

Sir Paul is one of the founding trustees of ARK, an education charity that exists to make sure that all children, regardless of their background, have access to a great education and real choices in life. He has played a pioneering role in developing new programmes for inner city education, is a Trustee of the Education Policy Institute, and has written widely on education. He is also the co-founder and Chairman of Marshall Wace LLP, one of Europe’s largest hedge fund groups. Sir Paul was knighted in 2016 for services to education and philanthropy.
