*Please note this event has been moved from 1st October, and is now taking place on the following Saturday, 8th October*

This workshop will take place in person at Birkbeck on 8th October as part of Study Skills Saturday.

Critical thinking skills are the cornerstone of studying at university. This online workshop will consider what is meant by critical thinking, and what is expected of you as a critical thinker. You will also encounter the key questions with which to approach critical reading and writing in the initial stages of your studies. You will also consider how to integrate the reading into your writing, so as to avoid feedback such as 'too descriptive, more analysis needed'.

The resources and recordings will be found after the workshops on the Birkbeck Study Skills Moodle module (student login required) in the Get Ahead, Stay Ahead section.

Birkbeck Study Skills also run study and writing skills workshops throughout the academic year.

Please note these workshops are intended for Birkbeck College students only.
