School of Arts is comprised of four departments:
· English Theatre and Creative Writing (ETCW)
· Film Media and Cultural Studies (FMCS)
· History of Art (HOA)
· Languages Cultures and Applied Linguistics (LCAL)
We provide an invigorating educational experience, offering an exciting range of arts and humanities courses that are built on our internationally renowned research. We are housed in the Gordon Square terrace where Virginia Woolf and Vanessa Bell lived and worked.
Birkbeck teaching takes place in the evening, leaving you free to study, volunteer or explore London during the day.
