Research ethics: reflections on our responsibilities

When:
Venue: Online

Book your place

In this short talk, historian Dr Louise Hide will reflect on key ethical questions in our research practice. Whether we work with participants, in the archives, or both, it’s vital to give our approach deep consideration in order to understand the impact of our methodologies and the choices we make both on others and on ourselves.

Dr Hide’s talk will be followed by small group discussion and an opportunity for you to reflect on the issues raised in her talk in relation to your own research.

This online event is free of charge and open to new and continuing postgraduate research students in the School of Social Sciences, History and Philosophy.

Joining instructions will be sent 24 hours before the event.
