After a year of events on the impact of Brexit and COVID on voice and representation, The Centre for British Political Life ends the year with a panel of experts who will examine the central question of UK politics in 2021: will Britain remain a united kingdom in the coming years and decades? 

On the panel we have a series of experts from Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland to offer their views and answer your questions:

  • Professor Laura McAllister, Professor of Public Policy and the Governance of Wales, Wales Governance Centre, Cardiff University
  • Professor Nicola McEwen, School of Social and Political Science and Co-Director, Centre on Constitutional Change, University of Edinburgh and Senior Research Fellow, UK in a Changing Europe
  • Professor Katy Hayward is Professor of Political Sociology at Queen’s University Belfast and a Senior Fellow of the UK in a Changing Europe think-tank
