Join us for a live conversation between Allister Gall and Dan Paolantonio from Imperfect Cinema and conversation and Henry Mulhall, a doctoral researcher at Birkbeck.

In this event, Imperfect Cinema, a Plymouth based DIY community film group, will discuss their work in relation to Jill Craigie’s 1946 post-WWII reconstruction docudrama, The Way We Live. Both explore the connection between planning discourse and community voice in Plymouth. Allister Gall and Dan Paolantonio from Imperfect Cinema will be in conversation with Henry Mulhall, a PhD researcher from the Department of Film, Media and Cultural Studies at Birkbeck whose work looks at the connection between arts policy and grass-roots community groups working in the Union Street area of Plymouth.
