Birkbeck Climate Action Network: People's Emergency Briefing
When:
—
Venue:
Birkbeck 43 Gordon Square
Join us for a screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing, a thought-provoking 50-minute film bringing together nine leading UK scientists and experts to discuss the impacts of climate change in the UK.
Based on the National Emergency Briefing held in Westminster, the film explores the scale and urgency of the climate and nature crisis, but also looks at the action we can take and the benefits that meaningful change could bring.
Following the screening, there will be a short discussion, giving us an opportunity to reflect on the film, share thoughts and consider what climate change means for us both indivudally and as a community.
Everyone is welcome to join the discussion - whether you know a lot about climate change already or are interested in finding out more.
You can view a trailer for the film here.
