Europe Endless — a trilogy.
Three films. Three days. Eight years in the making. Three generations of the left. A project about friendship, cinema, travel, television, books, and the concept of culture as political mobilisation. About what Europe was, what it lost, and what it will/could/might still become.

EVENT THREE, Europe Endless (EE03): Democratic Socialism, 89 minutes
Synopsis
A Swede, a Belarusian and an Italian talk about free time, dishwashers, socialism, washing machines, and the future. Looking back from 2038 — the age of the New Serenity — at the ideas and projects that got the world there. Power stations in a London street. A refugee project in a coal mining area. The circular economy. No time for complaints.
Director's Statement
Martin Hägglund, a Swedish philosopher, speaks about free time as the measure of a good society. His book This Life was a bestseller. Evgeny Morozov is a Belarusian technology critic, whom they call ‚the Digital Marx‘. He speaks about discovery mechanisms and why we need a horse (which Darko Suvin confirms). Francesca Bria is an Italian economist and innovation strategist, who says everybody talks about decentralisation,– just not of power or wealth!
And then there are flashbacks from the year 2038. The age of the New Serenity. When everything was just going well. Newropa. Utopa. Newtopia. Uropia. All real. All already happening somewhere. All needing to be scaled up. Celebrate Europe.
