Wellcome Trust visit to Birkbeck: Funding opportunities for Science researchers
Colleagues from Wellcome will be visiting Birkbeck on Wednesday 4 November, 13:30–14:30, to talk about Wellcome funding opportunities and provide insights for researchers considering applying to their schemes, which are focused on improving health, life and wellbeing.
The session is aimed particularly at early- and mid-career researchers in Birkbeck’s Faculty of Science, including colleagues in Natural Sciences, Psychological Sciences, and Computing and Mathematical Sciences, with a particular focus on Wellcome’s Early Career Award and Career Development Award schemes.
The visit follows the Wellcome event Birkbeck hosted for our Social Sciences and Humanities community in 2024, and provides an opportunity to extend that engagement to researchers working across the sciences, particularly those with interests relevant to Wellcome funding.
When: Wednesday 4 November 2026, 13:30–14:30
