Getting the most out of Kortext (eBooks)

During your studies, many of you will find that eBooks you are required to read are availabe on the Kortext platform. This session will offer students an in-depth overview of how to get the most out of a variety of features on Kortext, including:
- Navigation and search tools (contents, search bar, etc.)
- Accessibility tools (font size, font style, text-to-speech functions, etc.)
- Study tools (e.g. note-making, flashcards)
This session will include a short introduction from a librarian, followed by a member of the Kortext team leading us through a demonstration of the platform. A librarian will be on hand during the event to help with any questions you may have.
Students from the Faculty of Science or the Faculty of Business and Law are most likely to encounter Kortext and will find this session the most helpful. Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences students are also welcome to attend but might not find this as relevant to their studies.
