Effective study strategies
When:
—
Venue:
Online
- Is this your first time at university - or the first time in a long time?
- Do you always feel like you have to 'learn' all your modules prior to exams?
- Would you like to develop your study strategies for maximum learning?
If you answer 'yes' to any of these questions, then this session may be for you!
It's easy to assume that as adults, we all know 'how to learn' most effectively. But often, what we intuitively think are useful ways to learn are actually less effective than we might think. In this session, we'll consider a range of different study and learning principles and strategies and consider how effective they are for learning. You'll leave the session with a range of tools and tips to help you get the most out of your modules and prepare most effectively for assessments.
