The Postgraduate Dissertation Bootcamp 2026 is a series of workshops that aims to support postgraduate students at Birkbeck on their dissertation journey. The series runs online on Thursday lunchtimes, from 1-2.30PM, and on Tuesday evenings, 6-7.30PM.

Workshops focus on different aspects of planning, structuring, and writing your dissertation, and students can book on single workshops or a selection, based on what is most helpful to them, and can be booked below.

There is no need to attend all workshops, you can pick and choose which workshops will support the skills you most want to develop in addressing your PG dissertation.

Alternative dissertation workshops are run for students from the Business School and those students studying the MSC in Management and will focus on Management and Business dissertations.
