GET READY: Using OneNote for Learning

When:
Venue: Online

Book your place

Many of the resources you will use and access for learning at University are online. You will find many of them in Moodle, Birkbeck’s Virtual learning Environment (VLE). However, Moodle does not provide a place for you to store, organise and add all your own notes and ideas, and when you do research for assignments, you will often research and access other online documents which are not in Moodle. So how can you keep all of these resources organised so that you can find them easily and make them ‘your own’ for learning purposes?

This session will introduce Microsoft OneNote, which is like a digital version of the traditional notebook. You’ll learn how to create new notebooks, sections and pages, all the different types of content you can add and things you can do within OneNote, and how you can use it for learning effectively at university.

This will be a practical ‘learn by doing’ session, based on PC computers (not Apple/Mac).
