A warm welcome to Birkbeck! Starting at university is exciting but can also feel overwhelming. In this session, for undergraduate students, we will consider what learning at university entails, so as to better equip you for success during your studies at Birkbeck. During the session we will:
- consider what it means to be a university student.
- reflect on what makes a ‘successful’ learner/student.
- explain what to expect from your learning and studies.
- introduce some of the key resources at Birkbeck.
- consider the skills you will need to help you succeed on your course and the steps you might take to develop these skills.
