Academic English in-person intensive workshop: Part 2

Do you want to develop your academic English and academic communication skills? Do you find it challenging adapting to the ducational requirements in the UK as an international student? Join these intensive in person workshops that support students for whom English is an additional language and who need to develop their confidence in communicating in a variety of academic contexts.

We will explore and discuss key features in academic written and spoken communication, student voice, criticality and developing arguments in academic contexts.

This second Academic English Intensive session covers:

  • Developing arguments
  • Developing paragraphs
  • Reading and writing critically
  • Paraphrasing skills
  • Referencing skills

Come along to these highly supportive and friendly workshops. Please feel free to ask lots of questions as the workshops are interactive and participative. These sessions cover the same topics as the online weekly sessions but are held on Saturdays for students who may prefer this option of study.
