Take your development further with our online group coaching programme. The programme is designed for students returning after a break in study, or those repeating a foundation year or undergraduate study. If you’re not in these groups but would like to take part, please contact rachel.wood@bbk.ac.uk — we’ll be happy to let you know if places are available.

Each coaching session runs for one-hour, once a week, over five weeks. During the sessions, you’ll explore your goals or the changes you want to make to your life or your approach to study. You’ll reflect on how your unique qualities and strengths can support you in moving closer to your goals, while finding ways to minimise any challenges you encounter.

The sessions are semi-structured, giving a clear framework but also the flexibility to shape the focus. Each week, you’ll take part in activities that encourage reflection and help you identify small, practical steps forward. You can guide the sessions around your needs, working with the with the facilitator and other students to make the experience meaningful to you.

To gain the most benefits from coaching, we encourage you to attend all give sessions.

How the sessions work:

At the start and the end of the coaching, you'll complete a short task to identify your personal attributes to help identify any changes over the course of the coaching. Six weeks after the course ends, we’ll follow up to check on your progress and offer any additional support you might need. You’ll also be invited to share feedback on your group coaching experience to help us improve the service.

These online workshops will take place on Microsoft Teams, and you will be emailed the link after you have registered for them. You will require your student login details to access the sessions. Once you have signed up, the same booking link will be used each week.
