Digital skills workshop: PowerPoint for presentations (online)

When:
Venue: Online

Book your place

At university, you will no doubt at some point be required to make presentations in some of your modules, and these presentations will often be assessed.

This session will introduce the basics of creating effective and engaging presentation slides using PowerPoint for those who have not used PowerPoint before, or who have tried it but struggled to use it effectively.

It will cover the basic principles of design, as well as the practical procedures for adding slides of different types, inserting images, adding and formatting text, adding animations (such as step-by-step bullet points), and how to use the slideshow features to present your slides.

Note that this session will focus on the desktop version of PowerPoint on Windows computers (not Apple/Mac, and not the web-based version in M365 online).
