Managing your references using Zotero

An introduction to Zotero, the free reference management tool that helps you collect, store and manage your references, cite them correctly and easily insert citations into your Word documents. This will be a practical session specifically looking at searching for references online using the Zotero one-click save button on the Chrome browser. Zotero is compatible with Mac and PC.
Prerequisites:
- familiarity with the Chrome internet browser
- familiarity with Microsoft Word program
- familiarity with saving and organising files in folders
- some experience in literature searching on databases
- Birkbeck username and password required
Examples during the workshop will be done with a PC, Word 2016 and the web browser Google Chrome.
Workshop will be held in the Library Seminar Room on level 1
