In this webinar, staff from the Birkbeck Centre for Counselling will talk about two exciting new CPD courses which are starting in January 2026.
Working Therapeutically with Children and Adolescents is an innovative CPD short course for professionals working in the field of Children and Young People. Designed to enhance skills and knowledge in working therapeutically in this specialised area. 10 weeks.
The Mother Infant Observation CPD course is an exciting opportunity for professionals in the caring professions or related fields to learn about and observe the importance of the unfolding relationship between an infant and its carer. Using psychoanalytic theory and foundations learners will develop their observational skills and psychoanalytic knowledge supporting them to understand the dynamics of development. 1 year - you can start this course at the beginning of the autumn, spring or summer terms.
The webinar will be run by the Director of the Counselling Centre and BPC registered psychotherapist, Clea McEnery-West and her colleague, Siobain Degregorio, BACP accred. child and adolescent therapist.
