At our third HE in FE Practitioner Group Meeting of this academic year, chaired by James Ward, Vice Principal for Higher Education at Morley College London, we will be exploring in detail the latest Lifelong Learning Entitlement (LLE) Developments, Degree Awarding Powers and the latest Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ) news.
On the 21st we will be hearing from Ben Rutter, from the Student loans Company, who will be providing an update on the latest LLN news, followed by Q+A and group discussion, including updates from colleagues on preparations for launch in January 2027.
Attendees will also be hearing from the Office for Students (speaker TBC) on degree awarding powers (levels 5-7), including “new” and “full” powers, guidance on when to apply and application and assessment.
Following a round table update from partners on the year to date and plans for 2026-27, we will be hearing from Rebecca Mameli, Senior Strategic Lead at Pearson on the latest HTQ news and developments.
These meetings are aimed at both HE in FE staff, as well as anyone with an interest in finding out more about the latest developments in the level 4 and 5 / HTQ space.
