This session is part of the Library Saturday Workshop taking place on the 1st November.
In this guided session, you will be given an in-depth introduction to searching for journal articles. By the end of this session you will:
- Know which databases to use to get the best results for you.
- Understand how to use filters and other functions available to you that you might not have used before.
- Learn how to use boolean operators (AND/OR/NOT) to improve your searching.
- Know where to go in the library to get further support.
Whether you're just starting or looking to refine your search techniques, this session will provide you with the tools to find the best research literature available. This is a session suitable for students at all level of study and no prior knowledge is required.
