We are delighted to launch our inaugural Professional Development series, specially designed for alumni who have graduated between now and a decade ago and are keen to enhance their skills in the workplace for career advancement. For the first event in the series, we will delve into health and wellbeing at work and why it matters for both people and organisations. There will also be a chance to meet with fellow alumni. Future events of the series will include topics such as sustainability in the workplace and AI in the workplace.

Event details:

Are you new to your workplace or already a seasoned team-member, keen to thrive in your career? In this session, you will explore the benefits of health and wellbeing activity at work, gaining an insight into how to tackle issues at individual, group, leader and organisational levels. Dr Kevin Teoh, who is driving these discussions through his research into supporting worker mental health and wellbeing, will draw on effective organisational interventions to improve worker wellbeing and discuss what principles underpin interventions that are successful. Kevin’s talk will conclude with a Q&A. This will then be followed by post-event drinks - a chance to re-connect with our wider alumni community.
