Linking London Access to HE Diploma Practitioner Group Meeting

At the last Access to HE Diploma practitioner group meeting of this academic year we will be exploring the latest access developments and what’s ahead, digging into the latest HE entry requirements for Access learners for 2026 entry, as well as hearing from a large Access FE provider on challenges and what works in terms of student retention and achievement.

On the 15th we will be hearing from Charlotte Collard, Access to Higher Education Diploma Manager at The Quality Assurance Agency, who will be updating the group on the latest Access news and what’s ahead, including the new licensing conditions.

Following a round table update from partners, we will be hearing from Penny Manning, Programme Manager, City of Bristol College. The college has a large portfolio of Access courses, spanning STEM subjects, including Medicine, as well as social science and humanities. Drawing on her considerable experience, Penny will outline their offer, and student support, including their work on improving student retention and success.

The group will then hear from Marisa Castellini, Head of Access to HE at OCN London, will be sharing the latest Access and OCN London news and developments. And finally, Linking London will be sharing some of our initial findings on HE entry requirements for Access applicants for 2026 entry, as well as our exciting plans to support Access learners in the year ahead.

These meetings are aimed at college Access teaching staff and heads of department, student support service staff and careers advisers, as well as university outreach and admissions staff, but anyone with an interest in Access to HE Diploma developments is very welcome to attend.
