As discussed at our recent T Level Practitioner Meeting, there are growing concerns in the college sector that a combination of factors, including the very low levels of progression from the T Level Foundation Year and the narrowing of options as a result of the defunding of applied general qualifications are creating significant challenges for many learners wanting to progress on to level 3 after their level 2 study. In addition, current reforms to qualifications at level 2 and below could, once enacted, potentially exacerbate the situation.

This discussion forum then will provide an opportunity for college partners to share their experiences, including how their institutions are responding to this issue, as well as explore what could be done to try to ensure appropriate pathways for all learners wishing to continue their studies post level 2.

This forum is aimed at staff in colleges involved in the delivery of level 2 and 3 qualifications, curriculum leads and managers, as well as staff engaged in providing support for level 2 learners planning to progress on to level 3.

Please note this is for Linking London Partners only.
