Ability: Talking to employers about mental health

In this virtual session (via Teams) you will hear from two PwC representatives discussing disclosure of mental health challenges from the employer side of the conversation.

We will also have two speakers who have mental health challenges sharing their own experiences of being open about this during the recruitment process and at work. How this was received and adjustments they have which help at work.

Speakers
Speaker 1: Kim Whippy – Inclusion & enablement services lead, PwC
Speaker 2: Sean Maywood – Mental Health First Aid Instructor, PwC
Speaker 3: Lavinia Lavizani – experience across charity, theatre marketing and teaching. Lavinia has experience of talking about her mental health with employers both in the UK and in Italy.
Speaker 4: TBC

Please note that this will be a cross-university session, with students from different universities in attendance.
