At the meeting, chaired by Prof Darryll Bravenboer, Director of Apprenticeships at Middlesex University, colleagues will receive the latest updates on apprenticeship developments at UCAS, a look into higher technical qualifications (HTQs), higher nationals and end point assessments, as well as the London picture regarding HE and FE providers apprenticeship offer.

Attendees will be hearing from colleagues from Pearson, who will be covering the interconnected offerings of HTQs and licensed higher nationals, as well as apprenticeship end point assessments, providing examples of how HE providers use these together.

Pete Milson, Apprenticeships Partnerships Manager will then be outlining the work of UCAS in this space, including progress on ascribing tariff points to level 3 apprenticeships, as well as on the plans for applicants to be able to apply via UCAS.

And following a round table update, Dr Jakub Kowaleski, Partnership Manager, will be sharing intial findings from our latest research piece, due to be published over the summer, mapping HE and FE providers apprenticeship provision from level 2-7 in London. This unique and comprehensive mapping of the London provider offer allows us to identify trends with our last mapping piece, completed in August 2022 and includes detailed breakdowns by level, sector/occupation and entry requirements.

Please note that this group is aimed at our university and college partners who are delivering or planning to develop higher and degree apprenticeships, although anyone with an interest in apprenticeship developments is welcome to attend.

Please note this is for Linking London Partners only.
