Shut up and write!

When:
Venue: Birkbeck Main Building, Malet Street

Book your place

This 'Shut Up and Write' session offers Birkbeck research students the chance to start the week with a focus on getting some writing done. The format and aims are based on those described in the Thesis Whisperer blog and take the form of a series of focussed 25 minute writing sessions, each followed by a brief 5 minute break. During the breaks you can relax, speak with other students who are attending and enjoy a tea/coffee.

During the writing sessions you will work in silence while in the company of other attendees. You will be invited to switch off your phone and to avoid any temptation to do anything except for writing.

One attendee will be asked in advance to act as the session organiser by keeping track of the time and announcing the start and end of each part of the schedule.

If you would like to take part but are unable to attend in-person please contact me and if there is sufficient interest, I will set up remote access.
