This may be your first time in higher education, you may be a returning student, or you may have studied at university in the past, but it feels like a lifetime ago. Perhaps you have concerns about how you will manage your studies and your time. You may be worried about the types of assignments and the amount of required reading you will be expected to do. Or you might feel nervous about meeting other students, talking to your lecturers, or contributing to seminars and workshops. All of these feelings are perfectly natural and commonplace when starting out at university.

In this workshop, we take a look at practical ways to improve the likelihood of success in your programme. We break this down into ten helpful tips. Whilst the tips are not exhaustive, they are a useful starting point to get you thinking, planning, and feeling more confident about undertaking your studies.
