During our Careers day each session is planned for this day was created to help you gain new and boost your existing skills which will set you apart in the modern workplace. If you would like to become a top performer, secure your new promotion or gain a better understanding of the world of work, then sessions planned for the career day are perfect for you
12:00 – PensionBee – Careers in Business and Financial Services
Priyal Kanabar, Engagement Manager at PnesionBee, one of the fastest growing startups in the fintech industry, will talk to you all about life at the company and in financial services in general. This will be applicable to anyone interested in finance, regardless of whether they have studied a relevant degree.
2:00 pm – Google – Virtual Careers at Google
Eva, Gavin, and Svetlana will be joining us from the Marketing, Sales, and Tech departments at Google, and will be speaking all about their respective journeys into Google and the tech field in general. Come join us for an informal talk with many opportunities for questions to our speakers!
5:00 pm – DigEducation – LinkedIn and You (IN-PERSON EVENT, MAL G16)
Joining us for our last session will be Birkbeck’s own digital education team, who will show you the power of LinkedIn as a careers and networking tool, and the different ways you can best position yourself digitally. In addition, they’ll be speaking about the many interesting learning opportunities accessible to Birkbeck students through LinkedIn learning.
