Keynote speaker: Professor Hilary Marland (Warwick).  This interdisciplinary symposium will examine the myriad ways that women gained, exchanged, and recorded medical knowledge during the period 1750-1850 including through correspondence, manuscript circulation, domestic cookery books, publication, and apprenticeship.
