So you have gathered and read a number of texts related to your assignment. How do you now produce a plan and use that plan to write your first draft? This workshop will:
- offer a strategy for planning assignments
- give a tour of apps and software useful for the assignment planning process
- introduce techniques for drafting assignments using apps and software
The suggested strategies will focus on some tools that are freely available on most computers and mobile devices, as well as offering some suggestions for low-cost apps. There are also options for students who would find it helpful to invest in more advanced software.
This workshop is the second in a series of Breaking Barriers Kit workshops on the assignment planning/drafting/writing process, as well as offering workshops in other skill areas.
