TRIGGER is delivering its second seminar aim for Female Aspiring professor/manager (Academics and Professional/Support Services) on 5th July 12-1pm

Targeted at aspiring professors and managers, this workshop will provide practical strategies for getting the outcomes you want - but in a way that is ethical and with integrity. Those who cannot rely on organizational power status to get their way, may have to use a variety of means to positively influence their environment. Ultimately, using influence is about getting your voice heard and getting matters that are important to you noticed.

In this pragmatic and interactive workshop, leadership coach Andrew Atter will cover areas such as the following:

  • Understanding power & influence
  • Setting an agenda
  • Building collaborative alliances
  • Social intelligence
  • Networking strategies
  • Working with a Mentor or Coach
  • Developing presence
  • Influencing styles and roles
  • Working the room
  • Negotiating & psychological contracting

The workshop will include practical exercises to help you develop your own specific influencing strategy that's relevant to you and what you're working on.
