How do practice-based methods differ from and overlap with 'conventional' academic research? What is and isn't shared by methods in different arts disciplines? What can we learn from one another's practice as researchers? This half-day symposium brings together a range of scholars in theatre, film and creative writing who pursue their research through practice. Open to all, this event will be of particular interest to postgraduate researchers. Supported by Birkbeck's practice-based research network, Corkscrew.
