Analysing Language Structure and Use

This module introduces you to leading ideas and theories in linguistics, with the aims of developing a critical understanding of the central assumptions of contemporary linguistics. Focusing on selected aspects of linguistic structure and use, the course also introduces you to various types of analytic tools used to work with language data.
