Module description

This module provides an introduction to the key themes, concepts, theories and debates in contemporary human geography. It examines topics drawn from social, economic and urban geography, for example globalisation and public space. Part of the module focuses on London as a global city and discusses issues such as ethnicity and migration, and housing and homelessness. The section on London includes a field trip to East London.
