Literature Review

  • Credit value: 30 credits at Level 6
  • Assessment: 5000-word literature review (excluding bibliography)

Module description

The literature review should outline and evaluate an area of contemporary academic discussion or debate. It should be located within theoretical debates.

Information sources are primarily based upon academic sources. Case studies and illustrative material are welcome, but the literature review should be focused on academic material.

Literature review students are not allocated a supervisor. Your outline will be checked by a literature review co-ordinator; once it has been approved, you can start working on the literature review.
