This module provides you with an opportunity to explore in depth a topic of your choice which relates to an aspect of the relationship between the arts and/or humanities and health and/or social care. It allows you to develop the skills associated with independent critical thinking, research and the development of an extended argument. You will participate in dissertation preparation seminars and have the opportunity to work one-to-one with your dissertation supervisor.

By the end of this module, you will be able to demonstrate:

• advanced knowledge and understanding of an aspect of the relationship between the arts and/or humanities and health and/or social care
• research skills appropriate to final-year undergraduate study
• the ability to work independently
• advanced critical-thinking skills
• the ability to develop and sustain a complex argument and evidence that argument appropriately.
