Birkbeck CPD Endorsement Partnerships
Birkbeck CPD Endorsement recognises high-quality professional learning delivered by organisations outside the university. Through our endorsement process, we independently review existing CPD programmes against the Birkbeck CPD Framework. Where a programme meets our standards, the provider may promote it as Birkbeck CPD Endorsed and use the Birkbeck CPD badge for the agreed endorsement period.

Your training, independently endorsed by Birkbeck
Your training course remains entirely your own. You continue to design, deliver and manage the course. We simply provide independent academic review and the confidence that comes with an endorsement from a leading university.
Successful providers will be able to describe their programme as Birkbeck CPD Endorsed, use the CPD Endorsement badge in line with our guidelines, distribute digital certificates, and receive relevant support and guidance.

How does the endorsement process work?
Each discussion and process will be slightly different depending on the opportunity. Generally, you can expect to submit an initial enquiry for review, and if ready to move forwards, we will request that you submit an application form with supporting evidence to cover the details. You will then move into the review phase, handled by those with relevant subject expertise - there will be a review fee involved, and this can vary depending on the size and scope of your endorsement requirements. Following review, you will receive feedback and a summary, and if deemed successful, we'll create a formal endorsement agreement with all the relevant details and fair use information.
Our framework typically assesses programmes against the following criteria:
- clear learning outcomes and intended audience
- relevant, current and professionally valuable content
- effective learning design and delivery
- appropriate expertise of trainers
- learner feedback and continuous improvement efforts
- governance and quality assurance arrangements.
