Careers clinic for students

Are you career ready?

Careers Clinics matches you with a member of alumni community based on your career interests. You will attend one or two meetings (in person or virtually) with an alumni volunteer and together you will discuss career pathways and have your CV reviewed.

Programme structure

Industry insight interview

  • Prepare questions on the roles, responsibilities and professional expectations within your industries of interest.
  • Gain insight into entry requirements and career pathways.

CV Review

  • Tailor your CV and cover letter in response to clear and constructive feedback.

Interested in taking part?

The programme will run across the Spring, Summer and Autumn terms and matching is subject to the availability of an alumni volunteer with experience in your industry of interest.

What we look for in applications:

  • a desire to increase your understanding of career pathways, industry requirements and job application preparation
  • a willingness to receive constructive feedback on your CV and cover letter
  • the availability to meet at least once with a Careers Clinics volunteer during a specified period.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
