Branch Committee

The Officers and Committee of Birkbeck UCU are elected at the AGM which is held each year towards the end of the summer term.
Birkbeck UCU welcomes new committee members, and is keen to encourage everyone who wishes to be an officer to stand.  If you are new to this kind of work or worried about the workload involved, why not offer to share the post with one of those below - you will be more than welcome!

You can find a list of forthcoming committee meetings here.  If you want to speak to a particular member of the present committee you can contact them as follows:

Note:
UCU Committee members and Departmental Representatives are all volunteers.  We take on union duties in addition to our 'day jobs' because we believe the work is important - to the benefit of Birkbeck as an institution, its staff and students, and to the health of society generally.   The union will only be as good as you help to make it, so we invite you to get involved now.
