All members are invited to branch committee meetings so if you would like to get more involved or just hear about the latest developments in College, you will be welcome to 'sit in'.
Meetings are held at lunchtime (12.30 - 2.00 pm) normally fortnightly in term time alternating Tuesday or Wednesday. However this may be varied to fit in with the College calendar and ad hoc meetings may be arranged at short notice.

The AGM, termly General Meetings and the Branch Committee meetings are the principal fora for discussion of Birkbeck UCU policy.
If you would like to come along to the next committee meeting please contact any member of the Committee who will be pleased to confirm when and where this is to be held.
Birkbeck UCU's procedural agreement with College management provides that all matters to do with 'customary and contractual' conditions of employment are settled by mutual agreement.
