What will I be studying?
To gain the Certificate of Higher Education, you must successfully complete the following four modules, worth a total of 120 credit points, normally in order:
- Understanding Crime
- The Sociology of Crime and Deviance
- The Psychology of Criminal Behaviour
- The Criminal Justice Process.
What can I go on to do?
Students awarded the Certificate of Higher Education may apply for admission to the first year of Birkbeck's LLB programmes or can use credits towards other Birkbeck programmes, such as the BSc Social Science.
