What is the Common Awards Scheme?
From 2008/9 the majority of Birkbeck’s programmes will be offered as part of the College’s Common Awards Scheme. These programmes will have common regulations, and a common structure. This will help to ensure greater consistency of practice across the College and will also make it possible for you to take modules from other Schools as well as your own which are outside of your normal programme (subject to programme regulations and timetable constraints).
