National Student Survey Results
Each year the NSS results are analysed by the Quality Enhancement and Validation section of Registry Services prior to these being sent to all Departments, some for information only, others highlighting items requiring responses (see below). Departments are asked to provide a response to those matters highlighted in terms of explaining why low/declining mean scores might have occurred as well as detailing any action that has already been put in place/will be put in place to try to rectify this for future years.

- Responses to all 22 questions in the survey for all Departments
.
- Responses to the 5 optional sections/groups of questions plus one institution specific question in the survey for all Departments
(please note some Departments are not listed because there were no responses).
*Please note that, as last year the results were by JACS Subject area, there are no scores for the previous year by Department.*
The responses include the following highlighted categories: 'Highest Mean; 'Lowest Mean; ‘Matters Highlighted for Consideration/Action'. The latter are those items with a mean of below 3.5. These figures have been highlighted to assist in the interpretation of the tables by indicating student responses by Department relative to other Departments and where responses have changed over time.
Matters of significance/concern will be flagged up for possible action by key College committees following the Department’s consideration of the results
